Marjolein is responsible for recruitment and selection at Crito. This company conducts inventory audits for retail businesses. In simpler terms: their employees usually go to various stores in the Netherlands in the evenings and count the stock.
After the coronavirus, we noticed that the pool of job seekers had significantly decreased. It turned out to be difficult to find new people. "Since many of our vacancies are part-time jobs, we were looking for a way to appeal to job seekers who were looking for a second job," Marjolein explains. Through Google, she found SecondJob, one of Payper's platforms. "I had never heard of it before," she says, "but the concept perfectly matches what we are looking for and it's also much more affordable than other options."
She contacted them herself and was quite enthusiastic after the first conversation. "It turns out that for that low price you also get a lot of personal attention," she says, "More than I'm used to from other providers. They really think actively with you. And what I also appreciate is that they don't lock you into some kind of strangling contract. It's just non-committal. You can flexibly 'turn vacancies on and off'."
Crito has already posted several vacancies on SecondJob.nl and they have received quite a few responses. They have since hired a number of inventory counters. Marjolein is very satisfied. "The concept works, but above all, the personal contact and the sincere involvement are reasons for me to recommend them to other entrepreneurs and HR managers. You can just feel that they at Payper are proud of what they do."
